KV Srinivasan set up Profectus Capital Pvt Ltd. in 2017 with equity support from Actis, a UK based, USD 14 billion private equity fund. Earlier, he was the CEO of Reliance Commercial Finance and Director, Reliance Home Finance Ltd., and was instrumental in growing Reliance Commercial Finance into India’s first SME focussed NBFC. Under his leadership at Reliance Commercial Finance & Reliance Home Finance, the book grew to USD 4 billion with 16% ROE in nine years with a 3500-strong work force across 44 cities in India.

He had also played senior roles in large financial companies like ITC Classic Finance, ICICI Ltd., ICICI Prudential Life Insurance and Reliance Life Insurance.

Under his leadership, Reliance Commercial Finance & Reliance Home Finance were ranked among the Top 20 Great Places to Work in India in 2007 and IIM Kozhikode published a case-study highlighting HR Practices at Reliance Commercial Finance.

He is also Co-Chairman, Finance Industry Development Council and Co-chairman of the NBFC Committee at IMC Chamber of Commerce.

An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, he is also a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary. He is also an avid wild-life photographer.
