Small-scale businesses have been the backbone of the Indian economy since independence. As of now, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector contributes to almost one-third of India’s gross domestic product. Over the last few years, the MSME sector has evolved to become a vibrant and dynamic component of the economy. This sector employs over 120 million people around the country and contributes around 45% of the nation’s overall exports. As per a study titled Back to the Grind, the sector could expect a 7-9% growth in MSME credit in the current financial year.

While the sector has gotten over the impact of the pandemic and is expected to experience a growth in revenue of almost 15-17%, the new era of growth puts forth newer challenges, digitization and credit availability being a few of them.

After two successful editions of the MSME India Business Convention, Industry Live presents the 3rd edition of this conclave that highlights the sector’s new challenges whilst promoting the visibility of Indian MSMEs and encouraging global market outreach and standardization of products/services.
